Mindfulness for Insomnia & Fatigue: Webinar

This one hour webinar on Mindfulness for Insomnia and Fatigue is part of the Lamberts Healthcare Masterclass Series, designed as CPD for health practitioners. The live event in March 2022 was followed by 30 minutes of Q&A, which is not available on the recording in order to protect the anonymity of those attending. If you would like to join future events, please do not hesitate to register with Lamberts Healthcare on their website.

This Mindfulness for Fatigue webinar offers you a range of evidence based, practical ways that mindfulness can be used to enhance clinical outcomes for clients presenting with fatigue, caused by insomnia and/or health conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Long Covid.

You will discover:

  • The evidence base for mindfulness and fatigue
  • The main Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBIs) for insomnia and fatigue management
  • Key concepts of MBIs that can be incorporated into your clinical practice

The event is hosted by Barbara Rudd of Lamberts Healthcare and presented by Katie Sheen (PGCE, MA.Education), who began to explore mindfulness in her own life over 20 years ago. Having qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in 2008, Katie first began to weave mindfulness into nutritional protocols whilst module leader for complex case analysis on the MSc Nutritional Therapy at University of Worcester in 2011.

Having used mindfulness to support herself through the inevitable ups and down of life, including her cancer treatment in 2015, Katie has special interests in both mindfulness for anxiety and mindfulness for fatigue, illness and pain management.
