Optimising cardiometabolic health
Cardiometabolic dysfunction (CMD) refers to a pattern of changes in metabolic health that causes premature ageing and a profoundly increased risk of heart attack, stroke and chronic illnesses like diabetes and vascular dementia. With the escalating prevalence of CMD in the UK, most practitioners see clients who are affected, including individuals of normal body weight.
Early intervention with diet, lifestyle and specific nutritional supplements can significantly alter the health of individuals with CMD. This full-day seminar will explore such interventions and how to tailor these to the needs of the individual client, so that they feel better and also increase their lifespan. We’ll be looking at underlying drivers of CMD and the options available for targeting these to improve both short-term and long-term health. As always, there will be the opportunity for questions and answers, and plenty of live debate.
