To experience buying, preparing and eating food as a form of meditation is a valuable way to bring mindfulness into your day without needing to find extra time to practice!
Mindful eating can provide some people with a level of insight powerful enough to transform the eating habits of a lifetime. For others it is simply another way to enjoy mindfulness in everyday life, and to discover more joy in the things that we often do on autopilot.
So whether you want to achieve a healthier weight, reduce anxiety around food or simply explore a different way of practising mindfulness then you are welcome to join me, with a tangerine or your favourite fruit to hand, for an exploration of mindful eating. If you’d rather bring wine and chocolate, feel free!
This will be a light hearted evening with opportunities to deepen your understanding by asking questions or sharing reflections if you would like to do so. However there is no obligation at all to get involved, and you are welcome just to quietly observe if this suits your learning style better.
This one hour Zoom Event will consist of a combination of slides presentation and practical experience opportunities. You are welcome to join me with your camera on or off, or to be visible for the teaching element of the class and then turn your camera off during the practical exercises.
The intention is to make all my events a welcoming, peaceful and friendly place, where both beginners and more experienced mindfulness practitioners feel equally at home, so please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to help.
