Event Details

To experience buying, preparing and eating food as a form of meditation can provide some people with a level of insight powerful enough to transform the eating habits of a lifetime.

For others a less direct approach may be more appropriate, and a surprisingly wide range of mindfulness practices are emerging from the scientific evidence base as effective ways to support you to to develop a more balanced relationship with food.

So whether you want to achieve a healthier weight, reduce anxiety around food or simply explore a different way of practising mindfulness then you are welcome to join me, with a tangerine or your favourite fruit to hand, for an exploration of mindful eating.

This one hour Zoom Event will consist of a combination of slides presentation and practical experience opportunities.

The intention is to make all our events a welcoming, peaceful and friendly place, where both beginners and more experienced mindfulness practitioners feel equally at home. You are therefore welcome to join me with your camera on or off, or to be visible for the teaching element of the class and then turn your camera off during the practical exercises. 

You don’t have to attend live because a recording will be emailed to you after the event. However, attending live obviously enables you to participate via the Zoom Chat Facility if you would like to do so, as well as building a sense of community and shared learning. 

There will be opportunities to deepen your understanding by asking questions or sharing reflections via the Chat box on Zoom if you would like to do so. However there is no obligation at all to get involved, and you are welcome just to quietly observe if this suits your learning style better.
